News Article: http://www.guardian.co.uk/world/2011/apr/28/bosnia-crisis-serb-leader-referendum

Even after the war in Bosnia is over government officials are still arguing on the ruling power in the country. Some people say that having a leader that's a Muslim is going to make the government into one that is oppressive. Others want Bosnia to divide, although this would most likly cause another war. People sometimes just can't forget the past. They think that everything is going to go back to the way it was and the history is never going to be different. The only way to change things is to be open to those changes. Many people in the government aren't open to changes. They say that the only way to survive in this ever evolving world is to be reseptive to something different. People are being even more hypocritical now then they use to be. Never have we been a nation of more self-absorbed liers then we are now. Can't we just start negotiating with each other to solve our problems. It seems like these officials have the same problems. They want whatever it is that they think is best to be what everyone thinks is the best. Does it matter what the countries citizens needs? Most of the time what is best for the country is the option in between the two extremes. People often don't realize that negotaiting is a part of of society that is actually something successful. Government officials are some of the most fickel people there are. But if we start working together we can start getting things accomplished.

  1. It is true that people in the present forget many life changing experiences and then the same thing occurs again but they haven't learned so their still surprised. This reminds me of a quote that is along the same lines, it like those who do not learn from history are doomed to repeat it. In all this is very sad that this is true.
